On Saturday, July 7th, The Haunted Game Cafe will host a free Descent Second Edition Preview Event. This is your chance to be among the first to experience the return of the preeminent dungeon delve. On July 7th we will offer early demos of this highly anticipated title; you’ll be able to play the game, check out its rules and components, and place your pre-order!
We will be running the game several times over the course of the day. Starting at 5pm, we will start a game as soon as we have 5 players. There will be a sign-up sheet in the shop that day. As of right now, we are not taking reservations for this event.
Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition is a board game in which one player takes on the role of the treacherous overlord, and up to four other players take on the roles of courageous heroes. During each game, the heroes embark on quests and venture into dangerous caves, ancient ruins, dark dungeons, and cursed forests to battle monsters, earn riches, and attempt to stop the overlord from carrying out his vile plot.
