Publisher Days of Wonder had a modest booth, limiting themselves to showing only their latest products. In the video, Mark Kaufmann gives us a brief overview of the new Ticket to Ride Card Game, the Memoir 44 Campaign Bag and the Merlin’s Company expansion to Shadows Over Camelot.
Merlin’s Company expands Shadows Over Camelot to eight players, but beware as the number of traitors may also increase to two. There are seven new knights for the players, and there is the figure of Merlin himself. While not directly controlled by the players, Merlin moves around the board assisting the knights in their quests.
The Memoir 44 travel bag is designed to hold two full copies of the game as well as the expansions. It also comes with a new, double-sided map.
The most anticipated new game in their lineup is the Ticket To Ride Card Game. This is a light game for 2 to 4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Designed by Alan Moon, players collect sets of Train Cards to complete Destination Tickets. There’s also a “train-robbing” mechanic that allows players to rob card from their opponents.
All these products are expected to be released within the next few months.
