New Arrivals June 8th

We Carry Army Painter

The Army Painter is a very cool system of painting your miniatures in a quick, but high quality way. They make spray primers with a base color built in. Their Quickshade system allows you to weather a model by simply dipping it in the can and shaking the excess off.

In addition, Army Painter also makes a line of cutters, files, drills and other tools made specifically for either plastic or metal minis.

Change to Magic Schedule

Due to popular demand, our regular Magic the Gathering schedule is being reworked. Starting in June, we will be doing Booster Drafts for our Saturday Limited Event. Only the last Saturday of the Month will be Sealed Deck. So the month of June looks like this:

  • June 5th – Draft
  • June 12th – Draft
  • June 19th – Draft
  • June 26th -  Sealed

As always, you can check our Events page for all the latest.

Memorial Day Sale

We’ll be open our regular hours on Monday for our Memorial Day Sale.  We’re putting a whole bunch of games on sale for 10 to 50% off.

SIGN UP for D&D Encounters Season 2

The first season of Dungeons & Dragons Encounters: Undermountain, has been a smashing success. New players have been introduced to the game and lapsed players have rediscovered the fun and excitement of their weekly Dungeons & Dragons group.

Season 2, Dark Sun: Fury of the Wastewalker begins on June 9th. We’ll have three (or possibly four) groups running this time, but don’t let that prevent you from signing up as soon as possible.

The first 8 people to sign up receive a special prize!

Season 2 will run for 15 weeks, every Wednesday evening. The setting will be the classic Dark Sun, revised for 4th Edition rules. Only pregenerated characters will be used, so you won’t be able to bring your own.

Sign up for one of the 6pm group here.

Ghostbusters, the Premake

We seem to be on a Ghostbusters kick here of late. In any case the smart folks over at Premakes have given us this very cool and funny premake of Ghostbusters.

Thanks for the link to Wil Wheaton, who ain’t afraid of no ghost.
