On Saturday, September 25th, the Haunted Game Cafe will be doing a pre-release event for the new Magic the Gathering Scars of Mirrodin set.
This will take the place of our regular Saturday event. It will be a sealed tournament of six booster packs using only the new Scars of Mirrodin set. The cost of this event will be $25.55 (including tax). The prize pool consists of two packs of boosters for each entrant.
UPDATE: Due to the anticipated attendance at this event, we will be running multiple flights. The first group will begin at 1PM with 16 players.
START TIMES: On demand beginning Saturday, September 25th at 1:00 PM and ending at 10:00 PM
ENTRY FEE: $25.55
PRODUCT: The Haunted Game Cafe will provide 6 Scars of Mirrodin booster packs for this event.
SIZE: 16 Players.
DURATION: Deck building time plus 4 rounds, Swiss Pairings. Play in all four rounds, win or lose!
PRIZES: Prizes are based on the total match points at the end of the tournament. Each match win awards 3 points and each match loss awards 0 points. Ties are resolved using your Game Win Percent and your opponent’s Game Win Percent. The payout for 16 players will be 12-8-5-3-2-1-1
Everyone who enters an event will receive a special foil card: Wurmcoil Engine.
