Also, the Spiel des Jahres committee has selected World Without End from Mayfair Games and Kosmos for the special Spiel des Jahres Plus award. This award is given to an outstanding game that the committee feels deserves special recognition, but which is more complex than the family style of games usually chosen for the Spiel des Jahres award. Earlier winners of this award include Agricola, Shadows Over Camelot, and Caylus.
