Blizzard Dropping Upper Deck From WOW TCG
ICv2 is reporting that Blizzard will not be renewing their agreement with Upper Deck over the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game and the WoW Collectible Miniatures Game. Blizzard is stating that they will continue to support both products and is looking for another partner.
On the Warcraft-News.com site the Blizzard Entertainment poster Zarhym noted that Blizzard was seeking a new partner for the WoW TCG: “As some of you may already be aware, we will not be renewing the World of Warcraft: The Trading Card Game license with Upper Deck. We want to assure you that we are committed to supporting the TCG, and players can look forward to new content and strong organized play support in the near future. We will share additional details about the game’s transition to a new partner as soon as possible.”

Wizards of the Coast Drops Star Wars License
Blaming the economic downturn, Wizards of the Coast Director of Marketing Greg Yahn announced that the company would not be renewing its Star Wars license. The license will expire this summer.
From the article on ICv2:
Releases will continue as planned until the end of the license, according to the announcement. In April, Masters of the Force minis will be released, including favorite characters along with rare creatures from the Dejarik Holochess game that have never appeared in the Star Wars CMG.
The Unknown Regions RPG is also planned for April, including entirely new planets and mini-adventures for each world.
