Devil Reef Sticker

While traveling along the New England coast, you stop for a respite at the sleepy little fishing town of Innsmouth, Massachusetts. As you wander the crooked cobblestone streets stretching your legs, you notice the town is eerily empty. Once or twice you catch a glimpse of a curtain or window shutting, as if the residents had been spying on you. You gaze out across the calm water at the rocks of Devil Reef, which according to your well-worn travel guide, was a great hazard during nasty storms to sailors in the area. You can’t shake the sense of unease you have, so after purchasing a souvenir sticker to mark your visit, you hurriedly make your departure.
