Event description

Mastermind mage Jace Beleren has pushed reality to its breaking point. An alternate Multiverse of his own creation threatens to overtake the current one, and just one brave team of heroes stands in the path of oblivion. Be on the lookout for twisted new reflections of Magic's legends as you explore Jace's Echoverse and his inner sanctum within the dystopian school of Hexhaven.

PLEASE NOTE: Wizards of the Coast has announced changes to the Prerelease Two-Headed Giant format. We will be trying these new guidelines for Reality Fracture and collecting attendees' feedback regarding whether to adopt the changes permanently in our event roster. Please review the new guidelines (outlined below and on the linked page above) and the new reduced ticket fee when deciding whether to sign up for this event.

About Two-Headed Giant Prerelease Events

  • Two-Headed Giant is a team-based format. A partner is REQUIRED and your signup includes you and your partner's entry.
  • Check-in begins 60 minutes before the official event start time. If you have not checked in by 10 MINUTES before start time, you will be in danger of losing your reserved seat to a present player on the waiting list.
  • Two-Headed Giant Prerelease events give you and a friend the opportunity to play with the newest cards using the Sealed Deck format. You'll collectively receive one Prerelease Pack and two Play Boosters, from which you'll each make a 40-card deck. We’ll have basic land available to borrow.
  • After 50 minutes of deck building, teams will face off in best-of-one matches. All teams will play in every round, win or lose. Players will receive one pack per match win as prize support. Each event is capped at 3 rounds.
  • Purchase of this item indicates intent for you and another person to play in the event. If you just want the prerelease kits, we usually have them available to buy directly via their own listing until we run out.
  • In the interest of fairness to all players, your spot is NOT reserved until you have PAID.
