Event description

A thunderous roar from above heralds the descent of a renowned ruler of the sky! Mega Rayquaza ex brings unparallelled strength to battle, inspiring Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex to come forth and put their own skills to the test. Prevailing winds lead to legendary places and emerald-colored storms!

Come to our Mega Evolution—Delta Reign Prerelease Event and weather the storm in the next evolution of the Pokémon Trading Card Game!

All attendees will receive three booster packs as participation prizes. Events will be taking place at the following times:

  • Saturday October 24th @ 12:30pm
  • Wednesday October 28th @ 6:30pm

About Prerelease Events

  • Check-in begins 30 minutes before the official event start time. If you have not checked in by 10 MINUTES before start time, you will be in danger of losing your reserved seat to a present player on the waiting list.
  • The Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play (as opposed to a 60-card deck with six Prize cards) using a Build & Battle Box. Each box includes a 40-card ready-to-play deck featuring key cards from current and prior sets, four booster packs to upgrade and customize the deck, and one of four unique foil promo cards. We'll have basic energy available to borrow if you need more.
  • After 30 minutes of deck building, players will be matched up to play three rounds of best-of-one matches. All players will play in every round, win or lose. Players will each receive three additional booster packs and a prize pack for playing in the event.
  • The Prerelease format is perfect for introducing new players to the exciting world of the Pokémon TCG with quick, fun games, and it also gives seasoned players a window into all that a new set has to offer. Due to the limited card pool and the variance of cards that can be acquired in a Build & Battle Box, Prerelease events are also a great opportunity to flex your creative deck-building muscles.
  • In the interest of fairness to all players, your spot is NOT reserved until you have PAID.
  • Thank you for helping us run a smooth, enjoyable event for everyone!
